Spring Rites

The Gallery at the Jupiter is pleased to present the return of Christopher St. John. His latest works are full of luscious colors and dynamic images. Unconventional and unpredictable yet making perfect sense, this body of work embraces a world of shifting light where the figure is on the verge of being assimilated into the landscape. Very large works and smaller pieces make for a varied and engaging show.

St. John received a BFA from the University of Alaska and has shown his works in France, Hawaii, New Mexico, Tennessee, with pieces in the Museum of the North Fairbanks, Alaska, and the Hawaii State Art Museum.

The Gallery @ the Jupiter is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Opening in February 2012, Gallery @ the Jupiter exposes emerging artists and cultivates emerging collectors. The space provides a light-filled, modern venue to showcase the works of exhibiting artists.
